Two new companion guides to the tpt Close the Gap series, developed
by the University of Minnesota Human Rights Center, foster dialogue
to learn more about and work to overcome disparities. The guides summarizes
major points from the series, and provide surveys, discussion questions
and suggested activities to better understand disparities
and its causes, and to take action to end them.

Care for a child in your home while parents attend to a family crisis.
Project
for Pride in Living (PPL)
Help to provide a variety of services to job-seekers including tutoring
adults to get their GED, providing mock job interviews and job coaching.
Transit for Livable Communities
Gives information on alternative modes of transportation including mass
transit, carpooling, walking and biking.
Twin Cities RISE!
Trains unemployed and under-employed workers for employment. Mostly serves
people Of Color. Become a recruitment partner or help spread the word
about this program.
WomenVenture
Provides a variety of services and classes to women entrepreneurs including
assistance writing a business plan, learning how to obtain a business
loan, job coaching and support/networking groups. Volunteer as a trainer,
a consultant, or a business panel member.
