Arrests
Minnesota state-level data on arrests by age, race and gender included in the Uniform Crime Reports published by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. Data for 1997 through 2006 are available. To view, select the year of interest and refer to the section titled "MN Arrest Information".

Attendance rates
Attendance data for the 2005-2006 school year available by district, school and grade for public schools in Minnesota. To view, click on the document titled "Attendance rates".

Child abuse and neglect
The Minnesota Department of Human Services provides in-depth statistics on child maltreatment, out of home care and adoption. Data for 2002 to 2006 available by county, race and gender. Click on Minnesota's Child Welfare Reports.

Deaths
The number of deaths due to suicide and violence are available for all 87 Minnesota counties from 1996 to 2007 through the Minnesota County Health Tables. Click on the year of interest and then click on the section titled "Mortality". You can use the population numbers in the Twin Cities Compass Demographics section to calculate the incidence rates for the 7-county metro area.

Domestic Violence
Annual fact sheet on domestic violence in Minnesota and the west metro. Includes data on 911 calls, assault charges and other information. Produced by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Office of Justice Programs.

DWI rate
The number and incidence rate of Driving While Impaired (DWI) occurrences is available for all 87 Minnesota counties from 1996 to 2007 through the Minnesota County Health Tables. Click on the year of interest and then click the section titled "Chemical Health".

Incarceration rate
Actual and projected numbers of incarcerated adults provided by the Minnesota Department of Corrections. Data for 2000 to 2006 are available. To view, reference the Minnesota Prison Population Projections report under the section titled, "Prison Populations and Programs".
