Household access to a vehicle
From the U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey. Number of vehicles available to the household, if any, and means of transportation to work. Data available from 2005 to the present.

Land use
The Metropolitan Council provides generalized land use data for the 7-county area and its political subdivisions approximately every five years. Statistical tables with land use categories available for cities, townships, counties and metro. An interactive (GIS) land use map is also available.

Minnesota 3D Project (M3D)
Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) GIS (mapping) application incorporates labor market origin-destination data on Minnesota jobs and workers with other data. Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information System) needed.

Provides a variety of transportation-related reports and resources including an annual report on traffic congestion in the metropolitan area.
